CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES:
God Squad - The children's choir (also
known as the God Squad) meets every Wednesday during the school year
at 5:30 pm. Children in 1st through 5th grade are invited to join
this group of young worshipers.
Sunday School - Sunday School children
are divided by grade level into classrooms focused on activities and
lessons appropriate for their age level (3 & 4 year olds, grades
k-2, and grades 3-5).
YOUTH MINISTRIES:
UMYF - The United Methodist Youth
Fellowship meets at 6:15 pm on Wednesday evenings during the school
year. The UMYF consists of Jr. & Sr. High youth.
Sunday School - Sunday School youth are
divided by grade level into classrooms focused on scripture based
lessons and activities appropriate for their age level (grades 6-8,
and grades 9-12).
ADULT MINISTRIES:
UMW - The United Methodist Women meet
together for a general business meeting on the second Tuesday of
each month at 9:30 am. Meetings take place in the homes of various
members. This active group of ladies provides funeral care for the
congregation, participate in mission projects, and have various
other projects and programs. Members of this group represent the
church at the annual UMW retreats at both the district and
conference level.
Sunday School - Several small group
study classes meet to study and discuss various topics. Course
lengths vary by topic and usually last 4-12 weeks. Past topics have
included: The Bible From Scratch (Old and New Testaments); The
Purpose Driven Life; Building Character in Your Children; Passion,
Power and Praise: A Model for Men's Spirituality from the Life of
David; Quiet Strength; God's Good Gifts: A Scrapbooking Bible Study
for Women's groups; and more. Other offerings: Bible Study (long and short term studies
are available, please call the church office for the schedules).
Sanctuary Choir - The choir sings
weekly in the 10:15 am Sunday morning worship service and practices
that morning at 9:30 am. Regardless of skill or music reading
ability, all music lovers from high school through adult are invited
to participate!
