First United Methodist Child Care is a state licensed preschool program.  We are a non-denominational, non-profit service, dedicated to more than just baby-sitting, since 1968.  Children are offered quality care, love, training, and education by Christian principles in small classrooms staffed by caring adults who love children.  Methodist feels that it provides a service to the community by providing superior, safe care and an excellent learning environment.  Each child is precious and is cared for with love.  Methodist Child Care believes that each child is an individual and should learn at his/her own pace, but should be challenged and taught as much as the child wants to learn.  Our goal is a well-balanced curriculum teaching academics, social skills, and spiritual awareness, covering all areas of development, with love at the center of it all.  Infants and toddlers receive quality care in cheerful, sanitary, small group settings.

Services Provided:

Childcare is provided 5 days a week from 6:30am to 6:00pm year round, except on major holidays.  Parents who work less than 5 days or who work part-time may enroll their children for less than 5 days.  Children are served morning and afternoon snacks and a noon meal in family style – all you can eat.  Infants and toddlers have activities appropriate to their age and are cared for by adults who love babies.

Summer Program: 

Summer should be fun, especially for those in Childcare.  Our Summer Program runs June through August and is designed to provide fun learning for toddlers to school aged children (12 years old).  The older the child is the more activities they are involved in.
